Clinical Skills & Treatment Techniques

• External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT)

• Linear accelerator

• RapidArc/VMAT

• Electron therapy

• Conventional/conformal therapy

• Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)

• Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)

• Hyperfractionation/altered fractionation techniques

Treatment Planning Experience

• Conventional treatment planning

• Beam shaping with multileaf collimators (MLC)

• 3D conformal radiation therapy (3D CRT)

• IMRT planning

• PET/CT or MRI image fusion

Requirements

• Board certification in Radiation Oncology required

• Active Texas medical license or IMLC accepted

• Fellowship preferred

• BLS certification required
