Position Details

• OB Hospitalist coverage.

• 16–20 patients per shift.

• 16 beds in the department.

• Assigned and unassigned patient coverage.

• In-house call.

Hospital Details

• Trauma Level II

• Pediatric Trauma Level III

• Stroke-certified hospital

Support Staff

• 5 RNs

• 2 NPs/PAs

EMR

• Epic

Required Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/GYN.

• Active Virginia medical license or IMLC accepted.

• BLS certification required.

Required Clinical Skills & Procedures

• Management of low-risk and high-risk pregnancies.

• Fetal heart rate interpretation, including NST, CST, and FSE.

• Routine vaginal deliveries.

• Low-forceps deliveries.

• C-section decision-making and performance.

• Management of complicated deliveries.

• Breech deliveries.

• Multiple births.

• Placental abruption management.

• VBAC management.
