Locums – Quincy, Illinois, Interventional Cardiologist Job

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or board eligible interventional cardiologist for hospital-based locum coverage

• Hospital call, including STEMI and general cardiology call coverage

• Cath lab coverage as needed

• Inpatient only – no outpatient clinic

• Inpatient nurse practitioner support for consults and rounds

• Up to 10 patients on the service at once

• Approximately 3 new consults per day

• Responsible for interpreting cardiac tests performed during coverage

• EMR: Epic

Coverage Needed:

• Onsite December 30, 2026, for training and setup

• Coverage begins December 31, 2026, at 7:00 AM

• Coverage ends January 4, 2027, at 7:00 AM

• Please include availability with presentation

Requirements:

• Board certified or board eligible in interventional cardiology

• Active Illinois license

• DEA and CSR required

• ATLS and PALS required

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience
