Locums - Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Emergency Medicine Opening

Clinical Role
RecruitWell is seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician for an ongoing locums opportunity in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. This is a single-physician coverage model, and candidates must be flexible to work both day and night shifts. New graduates may be considered.

Assignment Details

• Start: January–February 2027

• Indefinite duration

• 12-hour shifts

• Must be flexible for both day and night coverage

• Single physician coverage

Orientation

• Formal orientation

• 2 shadow shifts

• Meditech Expanse training incorporated into orientation

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat Emergency Department patients

• Manage a broad range of acute and emergent conditions

• Perform standard Emergency Medicine procedures

• Coordinate admissions and transfers as appropriate

• Complete timely clinical documentation

• Work efficiently in a single-coverage environment

Patient Volume & Practice Environment

• 11 Emergency Department bays plus 3 chairs

• Approximately 2–2.1 patients per hour

• Approximately 10% admission / transfer rate

• No lower-acuity nurse or APP triage

• Standard Emergency Department support staff

Requirements

• Board Certified through ABEM required

• Active Tennessee medical license required

• New graduates accepted

Credentialing

• Emergency privileges are not available
