Clinical Role

RecruitWell is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join an established nonprofit healthcare organization in Long Island City, New York.

Position Highlights:

• $150,000 annual base salary plus additional incentives

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with at least one late day per week

• Full-time, permanent outpatient position

• One location only – Long Island City, NY

• Comprehensive benefits package

• Collaborative environment with psychiatrist support and a multidisciplinary behavioral health team

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and individualized treatment plans

• Manage psychiatric medications, including patient education and informed consent

• Provide individual psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and counseling

• Conduct SBIRT screenings and interventions for substance use disorders

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, specialists, and community resources

• Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and behavioral health initiatives

• Provide clinical guidance and assist with emergency psychiatric interventions when needed

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

• Active New York State Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licenses

• New York State Medicaid provider enrollment strongly preferred

• Experience in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and crisis intervention

• Strong communication and collaborative clinical skills
