Locums – Caro, Michigan, Family Medicine Physician Job

Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Duration: Through March 5, 2027, with potential for extension.

Position Overview
Seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide outpatient clinic coverage due to a recruitment gap.

Schedule & Coverage

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

• Outpatient clinic coverage with after-hours call participation.

• After-hours call is based on a rotating schedule.

Patient Volume & Population

• Approximately 15–20 patients per day.

• Patient population:

  • 90% adult/geriatric.

  • 10% pediatric.

Practice Setting & Support

• Outpatient clinic setting.

• Support staff includes:

  • Medical Assistants.

  • Receptionist.

• On-site services include:

  • Point-of-care (POC) testing.

  • Diagnostic imaging within the building.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Adult outpatient Family Medicine.

• General pediatric outpatient care.

EMR

• Cerner.

Requirements

• Board-certified in Family Medicine.

• Active Michigan medical license.

• BLS and ACLS required.

• Local candidates preferred.
