Locums – Mt. Clemens, Michigan, Radiation Oncology Opening

Schedule & Coverage

• Monday–Friday, clinic and call coverage.

• No weekend coverage required; clinics are closed Saturday and Sunday.

• Clinic hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

• On-call hours: 4:30 PM–8:00 AM.

• On-call coverage required.

• Coverage across two locations:

  • Macomb: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

  • Clarkston: Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Patient Volume & Population

• Approximately 25 patients per day.

• 100% adult patient population.

• Primarily outpatient (95%), with occasional inpatient care (5%).

Clinical Responsibilities & Required Skills

• 3D radiotherapy.

• Conventional radiotherapy.

• External beam radiation therapy, including:

  • 3D conformal radiation therapy (3D-CRT).

  • Image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT).

  • Intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT).

• Fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy.

• Stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT).

• Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS).

• Ordering diagnostic tests and imaging.

• Prescribing radiation treatments.

Support & EMR

• Effective December 1, there will be one full-time oncologist covering both locations.

• No APP coverage.

• Laboratory, imaging, and other support services are available on the hospital campus.

• Radiation Oncology EMR: ARIA.

• Hospital EMR: Cerner.

Requirements

• Board-certified in Radiation Oncology required.

• Active Michigan medical license required.

• DEA required.

• BLS and ACLS required.

• Local providers preferred.
