Locums – Belfast, Maine, CRNA Opening

Clinical Role
RecruitWell is seeking an experienced, Board Certified CRNA for ongoing locums coverage in Belfast, Maine. The provider will rotate between two coastal Maine locations and provide anesthesia services across a broad surgical case mix.

Assignment Details

• Start: ASAP, pending credentialing

• Ongoing assignment

• Four 10-hour shifts per week

• Rotating weekday off

• No call

• Must be willing to work at both locations

• Site preferences may be considered

• Daily schedule and location assignments coordinated by the department

Clinical Details & Case Mix

• General anesthesia

• Endoscopy

• Orthopedics

• General Surgery

• Ophthalmology

• Urology

• OB/GYN

• C-section anesthesia support

• Robotic Surgery

• Healthy pediatric cases

• Epidural placement not required

Practice Environment

• Combination of hospital-based and Critical Access anesthesia practice

• One location includes approximately 3 anesthesia sites

• Second location includes approximately 5–6 anesthesia sites

• Medical direction model with anesthesiologist support

• No solo CRNA coverage expectation

Requirements

• Board Certified CRNA required

• Active Maine license required

• Prior CRNA clinical experience required

• No new graduates

• OB/GYN anesthesia experience required

• Must be comfortable assisting with C-sections

• Comfortable caring for patients across varying age groups, including limited pediatric cases

• Epic / EMR experience required

• Must be available for the full schedule

• COVID and flu vaccination required

Credentialing

• Approximately 90–120 days
