Weekly coverage needed:

• Friday: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM

• Saturday: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM

• Sunday: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM

Position Details

• Setting: Hospital

• Annual Surgical Volume: Approximately 3,600 inpatient and outpatient surgeries

• FTE: 1.0

• Case Type: Independent cases

• Reason for Coverage: Staffing shortage

• EMR: Epic

• Support Staff: Anesthesia providers, CRNAs, and anesthesia technicians

Required Procedures & Case Experience

• Orthopedics

• Labor and delivery

• Spine

• Gastroenterology

• Gynecology

• Urology

• Cath lab

• Interventional radiology

• Bariatric bypass

• Minimal vascular cases

Requirements

• Active Iowa medical license or IMLC accepted

• Board certification required

• Residency and fellowship requirements must be met

• BLS certification required

• DEA required
