Clinical Role
RecruitWell is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locums Emergency Medicine coverage in Hancock, Michigan. This opportunity involves caring for patients of all ages in an inpatient/outpatient Emergency Medicine setting with physician and nursing support.

• December 28–31

January 2027

• January 1–5

• January 11–17

• January 25–31

Assignment Details

• Shift: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Coverage available 7 days per week

• Onsite orientation required 1 day before the provider’s first scheduled shift

• Coverage needed for scheduling, vacation, and time-off support

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

• Provide Emergency Medicine care to adult and pediatric patients

• Ability to treat patients of all ages required

• Approximately 36 patients per day

• Approximately 3 admissions per shift

• Manage appropriate inpatient and outpatient care

• Collaborate with Emergency Medicine physicians and nursing staff

Practice Environment

• Emergency Department physician support

• Emergency Department RN support

• Level III Trauma setting

• EMR: Meditech

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• Board Certified or Board Eligible required

• Active Michigan license required

• Compact license required

• BLS required
